If you have never heard of Bretman Rock, I need you to open a new tab and search for his Instagram or YouTube page. He’s is probably one of the funniest people on the internet and I’m excited to share his collaboration with Morphe.
In this collaboration, he created 6 gorgeous highlighters that a ton of skin tones can wear and glow like no other. It’s called the Babe In Paradise Palette. I have to admit, I wasn’t going to purchase his palette until I saw his launch video the night before and saw that he based his palette around the Hawaiian Islands. The names specifically, Cheehoo & Mahu had me after that palette the next morning.
You can shop the palette on Morphe.com right now and get the palette and fan brush for $29+ shipping
The texture of the highlighters is very smooth and light. In my video, I mentioned it wasn’t metallic and I want to be sure I clarify that statement. It’s not thick or overly metalized to where it looks like a tin man vibe. Does that make sense?
For example, Hourglass has highlighters that are subtle and share a light glow to the skin. A palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills has more metallic highlighters that beam more intensely. This palette would be a happy medium between the two I mentioned.
In my swatches and tutorials, I wanted to show you in different lighting settings and without makeup because I would wear these with some gloss and move on about my day.
