The curious blogger I am, I’ve been reading up on the best products in the cream makeup category. Slowly, I’ve been adding them to my current makeup collection. I also wanted to incorporate color back into my makeup tutorials and looks daily in a more adult way.
By now, you probably know I’m a little obsessed with cream makeup products. The last few months, I’ve been taking makeup classes, and I’ve seen a lot of artist use cream makeup.
I get it there’s no such thing as an adult way to wear glitter or color. In my opinion, there is, and it’s what I’ve been trying to achieve for some time.
Because of my curiosity, I decided to purchase some Colourpop Gel Creme Colors to practice and apply my skills. Instead of a random swatch video, I decided to do this as I would as a Lipbook. What’s a lip book? Watch here.
Base Shadow > Crease Color > Outer Corner > Lid > Inner Corner > Brow Bone etc… It gets boring. I was bored with myself. On my journey of master classes from the best makeup artist in the industry; I’ve come to enjoy a single lid shadow looks and thus why I decided to buy these and do a “try-on” style video.
Anyway, embrace the imperfect application, the creasing of the lid and the unfinished looks. They are my favorite and the most flattering on me
