Kalei is holding Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Gel Mask
Face Masks are some of my favorite products to try and get my skin to feel and look hydrated. I’ve been doing face masks since I was a teenager and so I believe that I can recommend really good ones.
Today we are discussing hydrating face masks to help you get fresh, glowing skin. Here are some of my favorite textures and products!
HYDRATING SHEET MASKS
Sheet masks are awesome because it’s not as messy as a traditional clay mask. I love that it can help seal the liquid into your skin and sometimes give you instant hydration within a few minutes. The drugstore offers some really good ones for a few bucks that are worth trying.
You can also checkout higher-end or luxury sheet masks too! I like trying both affordable and luxury so I’ve listed the ones I enjoy below!
Mask Tip: Pop it in the refrigerator overnight to help with puffiness! It’s cooling so it’ll help you reduce the water retention in your face faster!
HYDRATING GEL MASKS
Gel masks are the perfect masks for soothing the skin. You can put them in the fridge just like the sheet masks; for a cooling effect. I like them because I find that it penetrates the skin a little faster and some gel masks are used as overnight masks. I use this one in the morning when my skin feels a little dry or if I have been outside for a while.
HYDRATING CREAM MASKS
Cream masks were some of the first types of masks I’ve tried. When a new one comes out, you can bet I’ve tried it or will try it out. Cream masks have evolved and some require no water to get off. I love that! Perfect to use before makeup application and all you’ll need to do is tissue it off. Here’s the best I’ve tried so far:
