Party makeup with glitter on my brain! I wanted to use Tati Beauty’s Textured Neutrals eyeshadow palette and come up with a beautiful look that can be used during the holidays. You can switch up the hover of color with any shade in the palette to change the vibe. Play around with it and have fun!
In a new video I posted on my YouTube Channel, I shared how I’ve been using and wearing the shadows on my eye shape. Just because we are adults doesn’t mean we can’t play in glitter right?
This Party Makeup look isn’t perfect. I don’t like my makeup like that and I prefer it to look unfinished or undone. I find beauty in that. If you enjoy editorial and wearable makeup looks, you might enjoy this one!
Benefit Cosmetics send some makeup products for me to try so I used them for the brows in my tutorial. So far, I’m enjoying them! A few of them I have purchased and tried myself so it was a treat to try more! Thank you Benefit & Ipsy! #Benefitxipsy
PARTY MAKEUP WITH GLITTER
There are a few tips when using this palette that I’d like to share with you before you start. It applies to everyone and anyone and I believe it’ll help your overall outcome with any look you decide to try.
- Use smaller brushes because the shadows blend out easily and far. Take your time and start small. I always start with my lash line using a dark shade and blend out lighter. #Lashlinework
- For Sequin, Metallic & glitters I recommend using your fingers. Sequin is a little powdery but it’s meant to be that way. It doesn’t look like it does a whole lot, but if you apply with your fingertips, you’ll see a better pay off.
- Don’t swipe or dig into the glitters. I recommend pressing lightly and dabbing. Glitter will disburse. Try doing your eye makeup first and do complexion last.
- Use a dry q-tip to clean up first. Then use a makeup remover.
