Something my husband and I love to do is try new places to eat in different cities, states, and countries. That’s what we did before having our two daughters and we still try to have date nights and take our girls when the menu works for all of us. Tampa Florida has some amazing spots to try and I thought it would be great to share these so the next time you’re if/when you’re Tampa, you can eat at these places too! Without further ado, here are the restaurants to try in Tampa Florida.
Restaurants To Try In Tampa
Ocean Prime This place has the best Lobster Sushi! It’s been seen on Total Diva’s where John Cena and Nikki Bella have eaten. We eat there often! The kids chicken tenders are a favorite by our eldest daughter and I ate here a lot when I was pregnant with Zadie. It is a little fancier, so dress appropriately for dinner. If you’re going for lunch on the weekends, dress business casual. Also, a reservation is a good idea!
Edison: Food, Drink+Lab This is a newer place that was recommended by my husband’s co-worker. We tried this over a weekend and I’m drolling to go back! I loved the Grilled Cheese and for dessert, We had a Toffee treat! The menu changes everyday so be sure you check online to find something you might like. The place is so aesthetically pleasing and perfect for pictures. You also have the option of a Tea bar!
Oxford Exchange Is always booked. So try to get a reservation in early! If you can, ask to be seated outside because it is GORGEOUS! I’ve only been for breakfast so I recommend the French Toast, Egg Omelet and try their Iced Coffee. They give you a TON of food so If you decide to get these, share a plate of each! There’s also shopping available within the building. You will need to pay for parking unless you go pretty early so be mindful of that and carry cash.
Roy’s was one of the first places we tried a long time ago. It’s a fusion of Hawaiian style food with Asian/American. There are courses you can order or try plates. My husband always has to have the souffle for dessert. I also recommend calling for a reservation if you’re planning to go close to dinner because It does get busy. I also recommend dressing in business attire or dress up!
Columbia Restaurant Is good as well! There is an authentic style of Spanish/Cuban food. If that’s what you’re looking for, try that place out. I enjoyed the authentic Rice and beans, but they also had other options to try. I loved the building a lot!
Maggiano’s Little Italy – My husband’s favorite place for Italian food. We LOVE Italian so that’s our go-to place to eat when were planning to shop in that area. We usually have a big group and we do the family style option. You get endless starters, entres and dessert. You can also take extra’s home! It’s a great option if you have a party or a bigger sized family. We did this when we visited my sister in North Carolina.
As my list grows, I’ll be sure to update this post for you! These are the best in our opinion rating from service to food. If you live in Tampa, what’s a great Restaurant you’ve tried? Share in the comments and I might go try it out with my husband!
